Welcome to the new Plastic Pause blog.
This blog is dedicated to bringing awareness to the plight of plastic pollution propagated on the planet. We will hopefully educate, inform, inspire and motivate to reduce the use of single use plastic, find alternatives to plastic items, learn about plastic waste and change the present culture of unconsciously using so many plastic products and simply throwing them away when finished. There will be science, facts, personal experience, pontificating wrapped up in a bundle of humor and light heartedness. The goal is for all of us to take a Plastic Pause.

Plastic Pause Fortnight was a challenge to not use, purchase or throw away plastic for a two week period (May 1-14, 2018). The challenge was a huge success and now we must move onto more education and action.
